Senior Formulation Chemist - Pharmaceuticals - £40k - £50k

A Pharmaceutical Company based in the North East with a global customer base are currently looking to add a Senior Formulation Chemist to their team, primarily responsible for developing new solid dose pharmaceutical formulations and product development studies using process design principles such as QBD

As a Senior Formulation Chemist you will be the primary technical contact for client communication responsible for leading and directing formulation projects, to be considered for this role you will have prior experience with pharmaceutical formulation and process design of Solid Dose Products along with a good understanding of process design principles including Design of Experiment and Quality by Design

Responsibilities

• Developing new and existing solid dose pharmaceutical products
• Design and complete product development studies in accordance with statistically designed experiments using DoE and QBD
• Prepare and review of GMP related documentation (Protocols, reports, standard operating procedures, specifications)

Requirements

• BSc or equivalent in a Chemistry related subject is essential
• Industry experience with pharmaceutical formulation and process development is essential
• Industry experience supporting CMC dossier generation is desirable
