Quality Inspector

Location: Cambridge (Moving to Ely 2023) Duration: Permanent Hours: 7:30am - 3:45pm Monday to Friday Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Job Reference: 34310 Polytec are looking for a bright and proactive Quality Inspector to join a growing team in Cambridge. You will be performing in-process inspection and testing of finished products Responsibilities Verify the conformity of parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies in line with engineering drawings and QMS The ability to use a wide range of inspection and test equipment Ensure the completion of comprehensive and auditable inspection records Liaise with other departments including Production, Engineering etc. to resolve manufacturing issues where identified by the Quality Team Leader or Operations Quality Manager. Take an active role in the reduction of non-conformances Requirements ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline (or relevant experience) A strong Metrology or CMM background would be an advantage Ability to work to tight timescales whilst maintaining quality standards For more information, please get in touch
