Technical Designer

Role - Technical DesignerSalary - £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Type - PermanentLocation - Chertsey, Surrey My client is a multi-disciplined team, specialising in luxury interior architecture and design; looking to take on a Technical Designer on a permanent basis in Chertsey, Surrey. You will join a close-knit and dynamic team where you will be encouraged to develop your own professional goals.The Technical Designer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup
• At least 3-5 years of experience in luxury residential or hospitality projects
• Excellent level of design and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team
• Ability to work with flexibility and intuition with the use of various programs and established processes
• Desire to grow and experience a fun and practical environment, immersing yourself in design culture

The Technical Designer role will involve:

• Create detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Create accurate, concise working and installation drawings for on-site fitting
• Attending project meetings/site visits and producing full site measures
• Follow specifications, site measures and calculations to create various technical drawings including plans, elevations, bespoke joinery, and furniture design
• Produce 3D Sketchup visuals of individual rooms, buildings, items, and development of schematics for illustration and integration in presentation
