SEND Teacher Location: Maidstone Salary: £90 £200 per day Start date: Immediately Contract: Full-time, Short-term/Long-term GSL Education Kent are welcoming applications for a SEND Teacher role at a friendly and supportive SEN school with exceptional reputation located in Maidstone. If you are a creative and enthusiastic SEND Teacher with experience supporting children who have complex needs and looking for a new challenge then we would love to hear from you. The successful candidate will need to be passionate and devoted to delivering excellent learning and teaching experience for young pupils who have SEND. As a SEND Teacher, you will be expected to: Have excellent classroom practice and enjoy working within a team Manage pupil behaviour with lots of patience and a positive mind-set Provide a safe and nurturing environment for all students, enabling them to reach their highest potential and expand their skills for life and independenceTo be considered for the SEND Teacher role, you must: Have a valid teaching qualification namely a B.Ed. / PGCE having a QTS. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are also welcome to apply. Be in possession of a child only enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to process one through GSL.
