An OFSTED rated 'Good' school is seeking a Maths Teacher to successfully deliver a pre-formed curriculum, which develops students' abilities to be able to discuss and explain mathematical concepts. The community and team here are second to none, and are eagerly awaiting a Maths Teacher to join asap! The Role: Adapting the current Maths Mastery curriculum across KS3 and KS4, differentiating accordingly to meet the needs of your classes Empowering students to develop skills in problem-solving and mathematical reasoning Work with other departments to assess the holistic and cross-curricular application of mathematics Follow the school's behaviour management system to set up the best environments that put education at the heart of all interactions, both in the classroom and out The Ideal Candidate Will: Be confident teaching Maths to KS3 & KS4 Level Have strong communication and listening skills; to ease maths anxiety and develop confidence in students Be reflective, inquisitive, personable and create engaging lessons Have strong behaviour management skills Hold a Teaching qualification (with QTS) or equivalent NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply Application requirements: You will need a teaching qualification (QTS/ PGCE) or equivalent and references to cover the last 2 years, A valid DBS on the update service (we can also process one for you) as well as a CV outlining recent teaching and work experience for the past 10 years.
