Fabricator Welder

Skilled Fabricator/Welder Required My client is looking for a permanent member to join their team of 1st class tradesmen. This long-established company provides high quality products across many industries including Pharmaceutical, Food, Brewery, Architectural and Structural industries. The role has good variation, generally fabricating one-off bespoke items or low batch quantities. Typical work will involve process pipework & equipment, vessels, ductwork, architectural metalwork and secondary structural fabrications. The role is workshop based although dependant on skill level, pharma/brewery/food products are sometimes fitted or modifications may be required so there may be a requirement for site work on occasions. Hours of work are 07 30 Monday to Thursday and 07 30 Friday with overtime available to suit customer requirements. The company has built a good reputation over the years for providing very high quality work and are ideally looking for candidates with the following: Experience working with Stainless Steel predominantly. My client also works with Mild steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper and occasional exotic materials. Fabrication work to a high standard and accuracy. Experience of TIG and MIG welding in a similar metal fabrication environment. Able to read and follow intricate and detailed drawings/ work instructions. Experience of working to tight tolerances with attention to detail, ensuring high standards are met at all times. Experience and ability to work on site previous experience working within pharma/brewery/food factories is favourable, with pipefitting experience a bonus. Experience with polishing, sheet metalwork and pattern development is beneficial, however training can be given where needed. A competitive salary is on offer dependant on skill level and experience our client will happily pay £18-20 per hour for the right candidate who can complement the team.
