Senior Process Engineer (Berkshire / Remote Working Hybrid)

Senior Process Engineer - Contract Location: Berkshire / Remote Working Hybrid This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Refining, Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries. Experience in refinery projects is essential. This role is deemed outside IR35. Role & Responsibilities Develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects. Undertake and checking of process calculations. Preparation and checking of process deliverables PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications, process descriptions, philosophies and narratives. Supporting the project during FEED and detailed design stages. Perform safety related calculations and provide input to safety reviews What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc. Utilise process simulation software as required for the development of process deliverables. Attend in-house and site-based meetings / reviews with clients. Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of studies, projects and consultancy. Key Skills & Knowledge Degree in Chemical Engineering essential, chartered status desired but not essential. Experience in refinery projects is essential. Previously worked on design projects in the Oil & Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy industries. Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
