Welsh Teaching Assistants required - Cardiff

Fluent Welsh Teaching Assistant in Cardiff Welsh speaking TA s urgently required and in demand the Cardiff area. With the expansion and flourishing of the Welsh language in schools, you will have the choice of working as little or as often as you like. Are you an enthusiastic and committed individual interested in education and care? This Welsh speaking teaching assistant role located in Cardiff is perfect for anyone wanting to gain experience working with children. No experience required. Duties vary but can include: Helping with pupils learning and development, e.g. assisting those who are struggling, listening to pupils read, helping with number work etc. Supervising pupils in the playground, dining hall, cloakrooms and in class Keeping records of each pupil s progress Assisting with their health and hygiene Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to have a positive outlook Working 1-1 with students, in small groups or helping with a class collectively The Successful candidate will: Speak fluent Welsh A positive and engaging attitude to education A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills 6 weeks experience of working with children (Desirable but not essential) An enhanced DBS check with registration via the update service (This can be completed with us at Supply desk, if not already in receipt) EWC registration/willing to apply for EWC registration An enthusiastic attitude toward teaching and making a difference to young minds The ability to travel to a school in Cardiff either by public transport or personal car/bicycle What Supply Desk offers you: Fulfillment in a job role where you can really make a difference Flexible working hours, with weekly adjustments made by you to work around your other life commitments Weekly pay at a rate of £60 - £70 per day Access to CPD training such as; Safeguarding, Team Teach and Autism Awareness Fully compliant with Agency Workers Regulation (AWR) A dedicated team with a priority to support you If you are interested in this role, please call Supply Desk Cardiff on or forward your CV to Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
