About the opportunity As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting jobs at various stages of the Assembly inspection process (1st off, in-stage build process, final inspection and occasionally FAIR inspection) in line with customer requirements (count, physical check, specific measurements and any additional customer requirements). You will also be responsible for providing direct timely feedback on product non-conformities, highlighting any training needs to supervisors and assist them with any technical queries. Ideally you will have: Experience of working in a busy turn and mill environment manufacturing components for highly regulated industries where the quality system and control is critical. An understanding of technical drawings and bills of material Inspection of parts dimensionally using (but not limited to): CMM - experience of PC-DMIS would be a distinct advantage although training will be available Micrometer Vernier Height Gauge Shadow graph Plug/thread gauges Producing First Article Inspection (FAI) reports Assist and support in non-Conformities activities Inspection of parts and paperwork post external processing Supporting the QA team and assisting with internal audits What we offer Competitive salary.
