Teaching Assistant Special Needs- Full Time Leicester City An Ofsted Good SEN School are looking for FULL TIME SEN Teaching Assistants join their team. TA s experienced working across Early Years - KS4 are encouraged to apply. The school is committed to providing a safe, caring and engaging environment which ensures that all pupils are able to access high quality learning opportunities that cater for their individual needs and interests. The school caters for various SEN including Autism, PMLD, MLD, Downs Syndrome, ADHD and challenging behaviour. The severity of additional needs vary across the school. Initially this is to start on a Supply or Temporary basis but will become PERM for the right candidate. Roles starting immediately Your main duties will include: Providing 1:1 and general classroom support Assisting children with daily activities Supporting the class teacher to plan and deliver activities Creating and organising displays Assessing pupil progress and ensuring a safe learning environmentEach class has 8 pupils with 1 Teacher, 2 LSAs and a fantastic leadership team to provide additional support. The ideal candidates will have experience working with various SEN and will have a DBS registered to the update service. Primary and Secondary Trained TAs are encouraged to apply.
