Design Engineer HV Power or Multi-Utilities This challenging and exciting opportunity, based in either Yorkshire or the North East, with work from home and hybrid working on offer, requires a talented individual with 1-2+ years HV or MU (multi-utilities) design experience, from either having worked for a client side, consultant or contracting organisation. Due to an increase in contract awards, a significant forward order workload, and a dedication to continued profitable long-term growth, our client is now seeking to appoint a Design Engineer to help produce and deliver complex, focussed and detailed designs for all either HV power or Multi-Utilities (MU) workstream areas. The Role, Responsibilities & Requirements Enhance current design processes to reduce company risk and liability via formal validation, verification and approval prior to and during construction Improve internal processes and procedures to ensure all designs completed are appropriately checked, validated, verified and approved prior to being issued for construction Control design liabilities by implementing robust approval procedures to ensure all designs meet performance parameters and client expectations Develop and maintain a suite of company design procedures, standards, specifications and guidance documents Maintain continuity and consistency of design work for all relevant workstreams, ensuring that delivery timescales and targets are not affected Ensure you meet current and future work program demands Help create robust designs for all assigned projects, contracts or frameworks A highly attractive basic salary (relative to experience levels) plus lucrative bonus earning potential and an extensive benefits package is on offer to the successfully appointed candidate, along with security and longevity of work, given the company s market leading status and their continued dedication to ambitious growth.
