Intro: S Knights Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Midlands-based training provider that specialise in apprenticeship delivery. They are looking for a Functional skills tutor that is experienced with working with people that may have barriers or need extra support in achieving their functional skills level 2 qualification. This is a fulltime role , that will be within normal working hours and will be delivered remotely through an online platform. Roles and Responsibilities: As a Tutor in Functional Skills , you will be responsible to: Deliver engaging and innovative sessions of functional skills to learners who are currently in an apprenticeship. Support them in reaching their goals towards achieving their apprenticeship. Conduct assessments and provide feedback to the learners to ensure continuous improvement Ensure that you are delivering materials that meet standards and expectations Record the learners journey in the system such as attendance, outcomes, and engagement Support SEND students or learners that need extra support to achieve their functional skills qualification. Experience and Skills: As a Tutor in Functional Skills, you will need the following to be successful: A teaching qualification at level 3 or equivalent An assessors award is desirable. A level 2 Functional Skills Experience delivering functional skills to learners in Traineeship or Apprenticeship is desirable. A background or experience working with SEND is desirable.
