Immediate Start Residential Care Facilitator Hereford. £10.65 - £12.50 per hour - depending on experience. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Care Facilitators to work within a Residential care setting based in Herford. The setting is for young adults aged with additional learning needs who have been diagnosed with having ASD and PMLD. The post requires caring and committed individuals who are dedicated to supporting young adults with additional educational needs. The role will involve working shifts and also require night work, you will be a part of a multi disciplinary team that will require all aspects of care to residents. Having a background in the care industry is desired but not essential as all training for the role can be provided. The role will include: Adhering to care plans All forms of personal care (feeding, toileting, dressing, personal appearance, washing) Administer medication when required Planning activities Providing classroom support for on site education Helping students achieve educational and personal targets Supporting life skills Requirements of Candidates: Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service (Essential) Fully Vaccinated (COVID 19) Training: Safeguarding training Manual handling Health and Safety GDPR Food and Hygiene As a Residential Care Facilitator through TeacherActive you will receive: Competitive rates of pay Support from a dedicated team of consultants An excellent referral scheme Access to a range of unique positions in our schools.
