SEN TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED FOR IMMEDIATE START! Dynamic and vibrant school - Located in South London, with excellent transport links. Ideal candidate to start ASAP! £80-£100 per day. Working with children and young people between 2 and 19. Warm and friendly SEN Teaching Assistant needed for a co-educational Special School. This fab schools offers 150 places for children and young people aged 2-19 who have autism and social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional, and behavioural needs in the Croydon region. The ideal candidate would be happy to work with children and young people of all ages, and have some experience dealing with a diverse range of special needs falling under the SEMH umbrella. Extremely rewarding work for the right candidate. About the school/ the role Easily accessible, bus and tube lines located nearby. Part of a large trust, consisting of 15 special needs schools in London, Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. Ofsted: Outstanding Long term role, until July 2023 at least. Hours: 08:30 - 16:00 About You Experience with autistic and SEMH young people preferred, but not essential Good knowledge of Phonics. Aspirations to work in the special needs education sector. Reliable and hard-working. Comfortable working with small groups of children of all ages
