Summary

Positioning Exodus Travels & Headwater Holidays as the best choice for adventure travel is the number 1 goal for this role. To attract new customers to our brands and develop strong brand proposition; you have the opportunity to build inspirational creative & channel marketing that showcases our incredible adventures, personally delivering our brand & campaign propositions.

Being a 'Head of' means this is also a leadership role, coaching and mentoring our brilliant Creative, and Acquisition management team as they lead a combined team of 9, delivering our goals across the UK, US & Canada.

What you will be doing:

  • Delivering competitive advantage through brand, positioning, and propositions - finding differentiation and distinctiveness
  • Telling our story in a spectacular way to so there are no other options in customer's minds other than Exodus and Headwater
  • Thinking tactically to support the direction of the business strategy
  • Driving growth through marketing channel performance; delivering our strategic plan & identifying new opportunities
  • Personally, leading our big campaigns; inspiring & exciting the department along the way, while clearly co-ordinating everyone's contributions
  • Generating high quality leads through our Acquisition team, guiding market-winning strategy across channels like social, display, partnerships, PR, influencers, Podcasts, events, and ATL
  • Supporting our creative team to continue the production of top-class creative, delivering clear and consistent brand proposition.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in proposition & brand development with a growth mindset
  • Project management skills with experience of managing multiple concurrent campaigns/projects & delivering growth
  • Inspirational leadership, empowerment & development
  • Persuasive and innovative, goal focussed, with a bias for action.
  • Customer focused storyteller, bursting with ideas to deliver our strategy & outshine our competitors
  • Exposure to industries such as travel, media/creative, sectors with intangible products that deliver an experience
