Tendering Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tendering Manager to join one of the UK's leading Independent Connection Providers who are heavily involved in BESS, Gas Peaking, Solar & EHV infrastructure schemes up to 132kV. My client is happy with remote working though you will be required to attend site when required and to attend meetings with clients, DNO representatives etc. as and when the need arises. Your duties will include, but are not limited to. Managing the day to day running of tender team and the tender submission process Produce tenders for the contestable and private elements of LV to 132kV connections. Produce balance of plant RFQ s including but limited to BESS and Gas sites inc. Carbon Capture. Working with different technology providers and completing technical output Director RFQ review process. Complete review of commercial contracts with the commercial director. Produce forecasts on bids submitted. Work with the in-house design team for the design elements of a tender / bid package. Manage civil subcontractors for bids on cable routes. Produce handover packages for the delivery team. Attend customer meetings post and pre-order. Present our offer to customers where necessary. Produce handover documentation on project award, with design and operations team. Working with the procurement team on project execution and award. Account management for key clients along with the business development team. Working with the business development team to help grow the business in new directions Training of junior staff and apprentices where necessary to help build a bigger commercial team
