We have a great opportunity at Yorkshire Region across the following sites: HMP Hatfield, HMP Moorland, HMP Lindholme, HMP Doncaster, HMP Leeds, HMP Wealstun, HMP Hull and HMP Humber. Join the education team as an Employment and Resettlement Co-ordinator permanent, full time (37 hours) basis.

What the role entails:

As an Employment and Resettlement Co-ordinator you will be Responsible for the development, planning & implementation of site employer and client engagement/recruitment strategies which fully align local plans with local labour market demands, ensuring the curriculum offer and employment pathway within clusters meets the needs of offenders, employers and stakeholders.

You will actively promote the Novus apprenticeship offer, identifying and recruiting employers to engage within the programmes various levels to ensure activity is coordinated to achieve the required outcomes for learners and employers.

Work with lead Governors and HoLSEs, local providers, employers and JCP in order to create job opportunities for prisoners on ROTL and release.

What we need from you:

Must have Level 2 in Literacy and Numeracy
Must have Level 3 IAG professional qualification
Must have knowledge and experience of the skills system.
Must be able to demonstrate Working in a complex environment related to employment and recruitment of disadvantaged groups
