About the Role
We now have an excellent opportunity for a Site Planner - Production to join the IPL team based at our Whittlesey site, Cambridgeshire overseeing Houseplants and Flowers.
The shift for this role is working Thursday - Saturday, 7am to 6pm - 30 hours per week.
As a Site Planner you will be responsible for daily production planning, involved in the daily allocation of all IPL Whittlesey operations colleagues to the correct line and the daily allocation of agency colleagues.
You are a key communicator with the Business Unit Planners on all matters of planning and forecasting and you will be responsible for checking and recording information relating to the daily orders from the Supply Team. You will also have close communication with the Shift Operations Leaders regarding priority products and liaise with the Warehouse and Goods-In team regarding any over packs or potential shorts.
Attending the Planning Operations daily meetings and weekly trading sheet meetings you will reconcile all agency timesheets for the site and send the information over to relevant parties. Your role will involve completing site headcount information and planning for the shifts ahead.
What we expect:
You should have experience of working within a fast moving environment and ideally experience of working within a similar role.
Will good IT skills you should have the ability to work quickly and methodically and possess good verbal and written communication skills. An excellent team player you should have a good awareness and Health and Safety and possess good practical skills.
Previous experience of working with house plants or flowers is desirable.
