Circa £38,000 per annum + Company Car, dependent upon skills and experience
Full-time and Permanent, 37 hours per week
Field-based position covering the region we serve; including Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire and Essex, etc.

In this exciting role you'll be working collaboratively with various teams to deliver innovative, timely and cost-effective technical training programmes and assessment for water supply and the wider business.
You'll report directly to the Training & Development Business Partner for Water Services, within the People Development Team. You'll be required to source and develop innovative solutions and to benchmark these externally to ensure we are the industry leading performer in the use of new supply techniques and equipment, with a particular focus on operational best practice.
Working with the Operational Managers and other business experts you'll ensure training is designed and developed to maximise value for money, reduce accidents and incidents and ensure the competence of employees. Delivering excellent customer service is a key focus and all training and development activities must be delivered in accordance with all regulatory and legislative standards.
This role is integral to the development and implementation of consistent operating standards and for the continuous review and improvement of processes within Water Supply and wider teams throughout the business, whose actions may have an impact on water quality and the operation of technical assets.

What does it take to be a Supply Technical Training & Development Manager?
We are looking for an experienced communications professional who is passionate and committed to seeing people develop. In particular you'll need to have:
A recognised training qualification, i.e. TAQA, would be advantage (however we are able to offer training and support towards this qualification).
Front line operational experience with an understanding of the operation and maintenance of Water Supply assets.
A good knowledge of Water Quality and H&S requirements relating to water supply operational activities and processes.
Excellent customer service, with the ability to challenge where appropriate.
Excellent training and presentation skills with the ability to communicate and facilitate at all levels.
Excellent organisational and prioritising skills with the confidence to make decisions under pressure and challenge
