Account Director / Senior Account Director - UX Design Agency - London or Bristol - to £70k

Internationally renowned experience design consultancy seeks a talented Account Director or Senior Account Director to work in one of the agency's most successful teams.

The agency is 'remote first' but has offices in both Central London and Central Bristol. You can opt to work primarily from home or in the office and choose either location as a base as long as you can reach it for key meetings.

The sector

You'll be working in the agency's 'Home and Work' team. This unit operates as a design innovation partner for clients across the retail, hospitality, travel, energy, healthcare, automotive and charity sectors, creating brilliant service experiences.

The Account Director role

Employing a deep understanding of your clients' needs, you will be leading the growth and client servicing for a set of accounts and ensuring that they are profitable.

You'll work alongside UX consultants, designers, front-end developers and project managers and report into a Client Engagement Director (who forms part of the leadership team and owns the client portfolio).

An evangelist for user-centred design! Experience in UX / service design / experience design / user-centred design is essential.

Another important requirement is the ability to identify, nurture and convert sales from existing accounts. The agency needs an AD / SAD who goes beyond 'networking' and relationship development and can tempt clients with follow-on services and expand the account footprint within their organisation by helping to demonstrate measurable improvement.

Salary and benefits

You'll get a great package with a salary of between £40k - £60k if you are Bristol based or £45k - £70k if you are London based, plus 25 days' holiday, benefits including a smartphone, a cash-back healthcare scheme, a contributory pension plan, a MacBook and other kit as needed.

The agency also has a bonus scheme attached to this role - up to 5% of your salary will be paid on a half-yearly basis for meeting your sales targets. This will be in addition to a potential companywide bonus which is also paid half-yearly.
