You are recognized cross-functionally as a technical leader with expertise in process development, process engineering and digital technologies. You identify and explore innovative, complex technology opportunities to drive strategic initiatives that support our goals. This is a leadership role, and you serve as a senior technical resource for the organization, interfacing regularly with senior management inside and outside the function.

How you will contribute

In this role, you will provide strategic thought leadership and translate the overall global commercial and supply chain strategies into a robust category process development agenda, construct project portfolios, and plan resources across multiple platforms. You will avidly pursue new process technologies and apply them to innovate, improve overall efficiencies, enable sustainability objectives, and to build a pipeline with external partners to take advantage of scientific insights to create new processing transformation methods. This is also a leadership role that will require you to create a culture that protects intellectual property to give the company a long term competitive advantage and that encourages your team to design and deploy process technology platforms, deliver new processes, be continuous learners, and implement best practices. You will foster a culture of collaboration across the global process development community and ensure consistent ways of working, and grow and develop a diverse talent base that meets business needs and helps build the global pool of talent.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
  • Senior-level technical leadership skills in process development including leading process development departments, ideally in fast moving consumer goods environment
  • Influencing business strategy (e.g. cross-category senior VPs) through critical thinking and technical thought leadership that has translated into significant business benefit
  • Demonstrable experience in building and delivering a technical strategy
  • Collaborating to meet the agenda by working globally across functions, geographies, and with remote internal and external partners
  • Coaching and mentoring others in a global process community and department
  • Ensure that foundational skills/capabilities keep pace with technology advancements
  • Driving a culture of technical curiosity, learning and technical rigor

Travel requirements: Maximum 15% travel required
