Skanska UK developed the revised business plan for the 3-year period ending 2024; a core challenge within the plan is to become a customer-centric company.
Our Customers & Markets team are leading and driving the delivery of our customer experience transformation programme, collaborating across the BU to determine customer needs and design the customer experiences that will support our financial aspirations and help us to become the respected construction company in the UK.
As Account Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Account Director to deliver the strategic objectives within Network Rail account plan and support the delivery of the BP24 customer experience transformation.
This is a key role focused on developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, to identify a customer's business challenges and address these through Skanska's portfolio of product & services. You will be working closely with the sector Account Director and Infrastructure teams to deliver the opportunities that achieve the BP24 targets.
You Will: - Develop and manage relationships with key customer contacts.
- Establish early engagement with customers to understand their strategic objectives and align capabilities to deliver, identifying opportunities to expand/amend our existing portfolio of services.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and industry bodies.
- Support the delivery of the account plan to achieve the agreed success measures.
- Engage the right people within the business to develop and deliver opportunities.
- Prepare the account plan for review on a quarterly basis.
- Form strong relationships with the Network Rail project teams to identify opportunities to improve customer experience.
- Support in work winning activities including governance and tender reviews when directed.
We're Looking For: - Appropriate business engineering or marketing qualification
- Experience working with Network Rail
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in major civil engineering infrastructure markets
- Self-motivated and works on own initiative. Makes decisions and acts proactively
- A good communicator and team player
