We are looking for a proactive, influential engineer who is a highly organised self-starter with a can-do attitude that demonstrates the highest of standards of nuclear professionalism and safety. We have multiple opportunities across a range of engineering disciplines and as our next System Engineer, you will use your knowledge and experience to play a fundamental role in providing a strong technical conscience to the rest of the power station. You will identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risks based on plant performance and developing standards both within and outside the company in order to improve the reliability of the power station plant systems.

Who you are
The Engineering Group takes responsibility for a number of multi-disciplinary plant systems all with nuclear safety functional requirements, and as a system engineer, you will take the lead on knowing what these requirements are, how they are achieved and how they are continuously demonstrated and maintained.
You will also need to demonstrate your ability to engage and influence cross functionally to support the business requirement needs. This can include working multiple projects across several departments utilizing your experience of 'Change Management'.
Along with the above, you will need to hold a minimum qualification of a HNC (or equivalent) and provide knowledge of working in a similar role/sector in your previous experiences.
