Activities of the team/department that this role will operate in;
Production of Asphalt, modified bitumen and bitumen emulsion manufacture.
Purpose of the role and your responsibilities;
Member of the Production leadership team focused on the management of Maintenance, Engineering and Capital Expenditure projects to support commercial, customer services, safety, and operational personnel. No direct reports, but will need to manage and supervise external contractors.
Formal qualifications required;
5-10 years experience in a similar role
Mechanical engineering qualification ideal but not essential

-Demonstrated initiative
-Ability to work to deadlines
Experience required;
-Steady work record with proven interest in the management of maintenance and projects.
-Previous hands on experience with heavy machinery/process equipment
-Previous experience working with asphalt plants, process plants, quarying ideal, but not essential
Knowledge;
A good understanding of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
