About us
Camden is building somewhere everyone can thrive, by making our borough the best place to live, work, study and visit. Because, we're not just home to the UK's fast-growing economy. We're home to the most important conversations happening today. And we're making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst within our Digital and Data Service.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Camden's Digital and Data Service, working as a Senior Business Analyst, keeping our user-centric approach and working collaboratively with colleagues in our supporting people directorate to shape and deliver high-profile legislative and transformational programmes of work.
Working in an agile environment, you will bring energy to our strategies on key changes for the business. This is a dynamic and fast-moving place to work and with so many moving parts, you will need to be engaging, persuasive and the glue that holds different teams together.
A hands-on approach is needed as in this role, you will be the bridge between the business functions and technical teams, working with stakeholders to ensure we achieve their vision. Your area of work will focus on projects within the supporting people directorate.

You are an experienced Business Analyst who is looking to make a difference and exact real change. You will want a role where you can work collaboratively, but with a lot of autonomy too, supported by others in your team but trusted to do your job well and be given the flexibility to manage your time to get the job done. This is an exciting development opportunity for an existing Business Analyst who is looking to move into a more senior role.
Your background will mean you have industry experience with knowledge of best practices in Business Analysis.
Your ability to communicate and collaborate with others will be one of the most important skillsets you have for this position: understanding and translating for colleagues with very different specialisms associated within their fields; from stakeholders with operational and strategic sway, to the more technical IT, Digital and Data teams. You will be passionate about using technology for problem solving and supporting business transformation. To succeed, you'll demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects - offering to increase efficiencies, service delivery and outcomes.
Any previous agile experience would be a benefit but is not essential - an open collaborative mind-set is what we need from you.
