The Role

To provide professional guidance & support to A caseload of Apprentices, ensuring that each Apprentice receives a quality learning experience, achieving their learning goals in a timely manner prior to the gateway.

Key Accountabilities

• Effectively manage an Apprentice caseload, by supporting Apprentices through their 'L3 Business Administrator' standard'.
• Enrol Apprentices using the appropriate enrolment forms.
• Provide each Apprentice with an individualised learning programme.
• Track and monitor Apprentices and action early intervention where necessary. Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure OTJ hours are met.
• Develop good relationships with employers to ensure the Apprentices are progressing within their role and successfully completing their Apprenticeship, ready for Gateway.
• Ensure that the delivery meets ESFA criteria with regards to off-the-Job training requirements.
• Carry out the enrolments, initial assessments.
• Develop delivery plans with employers that include 'off the job' training.
• Carry out 12 weekly progress reviews.
• Monthly visits to the Apprentice's workplace.
• Attend monthly Apprenticeship standardisation team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Lancashire FA's Health and Safety & Risk Assessment policies.
• Ensure that the Lancashire FA effectively implement and maintain the FA's Safeguarding Operating Standard (S365) within Football from a marketing & communications perspective.
• Support messaging so that under-18s and adults at risk in youth and open-age adult grassroots football know how to report concerns about their wellbeing.

• Ensure the Association has a planned approach to youth engagement and demonstrates it can communicate in a child-friendly manner with under-18s.
• Contribute to ensuring that safeguarding and equality are embedded throughout the Association and grassroots football.
• Have an understanding and awareness of generic Equality law and of good practice within sports equality.
• Comply with and promote FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and guidance that are in place.
• Provide exceptional levels of customer care both internally, with partners and externally.
• Support the wider staff and volunteer workforce, always adopting an excellent teamwork ethos.

What we are looking for

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Business or equivalent competency.
• A1, D32 or TAQA assessors award, as well as a teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE etc).
• A previous experience in mentoring/assessing the L3 Business Administration /Framework Standard.
• Full UK driving licence.

Specific Experience:

• A previous occupational experience in Administration.
• A previous experience in mentoring/assessing the L3 Business Administration /Framework Standard.

Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

• Excellent organisational skills.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to produce excellent work under pressure.
• A working knowledge of Apprenticeships.
• The ability to communicate with partners.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work.
• Passion for the Apprenticeship model.
