Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference to someone's life each and every day? Discovery are seeking Support Workers to join our warm, caring team in Yeovil, helping adults with autism and learning disabilities to live their lives as independently as possible.
Discovery Support Workers, do not need prior experience in Health Care Assistant or Social Care Roles, as full training is given.
We are happy to offer, Full Time, Part Time or weekend only contracts.
As a Support Worker you will enjoy a very varied role. You will work as part of a team and on a one to one basis with a person we support to enable them to enjoy a full and independent life.
Your role is as diverse and varied as each person we support, but what is constant is the opportunity to build lasting relationships and to genuinely make a difference in another person's life.
Activities Support Workers may be involved with include:
Going to the cinema
Bowling
Swimming
Staying in and watching a movie
Getting nails done
Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - finances, shopping, cooking & personal care)
