Trading Underwriter

We are currently recruiting for several underwriter roles (Junior - mid senior level) from any location nationally to join us to be aligned to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their commercial book of business within Aviva!

Successful applicants will partner with brokers and customers to truly understand their wants and needs, using data insight to ensure we provide whole customer solutions.

For this position you will be required to go into the Glasgow office 2/3 times per week.

Skills and experience we're looking for:
  • Experience with multi class underwriting, Property, Liability, Fleet
  • Strong education background, previous commercial underwriting experience as well as ACII qualifications & working to achieve DIP
  • Previous underwriting or broker experience
  • Analysis of risks and ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
  • At least level 1 licence in some portfolio but ideally level 2
