£9.60 per hour
Hours - Full time (37.5), part-time (flexible) and relief hours available
Whether you have worked in healthcare, mental health and autism or maybe you have a background in retail, cleaning, and coaching, this could be the career for you. Dimensions Support Workers do not need prior experience in Health or Social Care as full training is given.
As a Support Worker, no two days are the same as we encourage the people we support, to live the most independent life they can and help them make informed choices.
As a valued Support Worker, you will be helping people you support to live the individual life they want, ensuring they have choice and control over the planning and delivery of their support. We are looking for ambitious individuals of a caring nature to work for an award-winning company where we promote independence in a supportive environment.
What will I do?
- You will be supported with personal care, medication, meal preparation, and domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day home management and support
- Supporting people with their day-to-day travel arrangements and holidays as required
- Co-producing and designing support in partnership with the people who are being supported, their families, and their support teams. This includes developing and delivering their support plan, and reviewing the support they receive against the Dimensions values
- You will be supporting with college coursework and attending various activities
- You will also be supporting with all the activities mentioned above and many more!
What training and benefits are available?
- A competitive pay rate of £9.60 per hour
- up to 30 days of paid Annual Leave (including public holidays - pro rata)
