We are currently looking for a Campaigns Advisor with a strong track record of campaign strategy, management and delivery to support our growing team and help deliver of one of our major campaigns this autumn and winter. This is an exciting opportunity to help build an ambitious movement to phase out oil and gas extraction in the UK. About Us Uplift is a campaigning and research organisation helping to move the UK towards a fossil fuel-free future and to support a just transition away from fossil fuel production. The Role The Campaigns Advisor will support a diverse network of organisations and constituencies who are working towards shared goals. They will have a central coordinating function across multiple networks and serve as a central point of contact between Uplift and partner organisations. They will also help partner organisations and Uplift identify and meet various campaign, communications and research needs of partners. Working closely with the Head of Campaigns and Communications on overall coalition management and strategy, the Campaigns Advisor will help us to define how we can best create maximum, sustainable impact. Core responsibilities will include: Developing and executing campaign strategies and tactics in collaboration with key partners. Supporting the execution of campaign and communication strategies and tactics in collaboration with key partners. Coordinating amongst various campaign partners and identifying opportunities to bring new partners into the campaign Facilitating meetings and leading and tracking strategy-setting processes with groups of campaign partners and stakeholders, in collaboration with the Uplift team Developing campaign and communications resources in collaboration with key partners Tracking political, public and media debates regarding the campaign and developing responsive strategies. Support in the management of a campaign team delivering campaign strategies and tactics The Campaigns Advisor's working days will be agreed with Uplift's Head of Campaigns and Communications and invoices will be paid on a monthly basis.
