We have a management opportunity based at our large cutting-edge site in the heart of Falmouth. This role involves acting as a Team Leader to our motivated technical support team.

You will be required to operate within the framework of our processes, whilst delivering continuous improvement to establish greater efficiency and customer excellence.

This role will require you to deliver a high level of customer excellence across related processing including, equipment sizing, selection, and quotation.

As this role involves leading an experienced team, so ideally you will have previous experience managing a team within a similar environment.

WMFTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc (LSE: SPX), a global organization employing approximately 4,800 people worldwide.

This role will focus on:
  • To support all sales engineers and/or customers. Ensure they are fully supported both technically and commercially in a timely manner.
  • Effective prioritisation and assignment of workload within the area of responsibility.
  • The effective management and motivation of all direct reports.
  • Recruit, train, and develop your team.
  • Exceed all agreed KPIs for quotes and support.
  • Utilise lean methodology to optimise all processes within the team.
  • Set up pricing tables within the ERP system as and when required.
  • Pro-active liaison with other departments to ensure a smooth and effective operation of the sales support teams.
  • ensure the team meets all EHS, HR, and Training requirements.


To be successful in this role, youwill need:
  • Previous experience providing Technical Support within an engineering environment.
  • Experience dealing with fluid handling products is preferred.
  • As this is a management role, previous experience successfully managing and motivating a team is desired.
  • Due to technical nature of our products ideally, you'll be HNC or Degree qualified (Mech Eng) or have equivalent professional experience.
