AWS Cloud Architect
Cloud Bridge
We are seeking a talented AWS Cloud Architect to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and architecture of AWS-based cloud infrastructures, ensuring that the solutions are reliable, high-performing, and secure. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and engineering teams to develop cloud architectures that align with business goals and support future growth. Key Responsibilities: Architect scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions using AWS services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and API Gateway, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Define cloud adoption strategies, roadmaps, and migration plans to transition legacy applications and infrastructure to the cloud with minimal disruption. Design cost-effective cloud architectures leveraging AWS services, optimizing performance, security, compliance, and resource utilization. Use tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK to automate infrastructure provisioning and management, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention. Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams, ensuring alignment between cloud architecture, application development, and IT operations. Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Create and maintain documentation for cloud architectures, solution designs, and best practices, ensuring knowledge sharing and operational continuity. Establish cloud governance frameworks that enforce organizational policies, security standards, and cost management practices. Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in cloud solutions. Required Skills & Experience: Extensive experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions with AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, and IAM. Proven expertise in building highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable architectures, and migrating complex applications to AWS (e.g., replatforming, rearchitecting). In-depth knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, VPC security, encryption, data protection) and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). Strong experience with IaC tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK, and optimizing AWS costs using tools like AWS Cost Explorer and Trusted Advisor. Ability to design scalable architectures using Auto Scaling, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, and other AWS services for monitoring and high availability. Collaborate with DevOps, development, and IT operations teams to deliver robust cloud solutions and create clear, maintainable documentation for technical teams. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, or similar certifications. Experience with microservices and serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and Step Functions. Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and integration with other cloud providers (e.g., Azure, GCP) and on-premises systems. Expertise in managing containerized applications using Docker, ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes, and deep knowledge of networking (VPC, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53). Experience with CI/CD pipelines using AWS services like CodePipeline and third-party tools like Jenkins or GitLab. If you are a skilled AWS Cloud Architect with experience in designing, building, and optimizing AWS solutions and want to work on impactful cloud transformation projects, we'd love to hear from you!
