The inside sales team here at Worldpay from FIS is unique in many ways, from supporting over 220,000 SME s all the way up to 12,000 corporate sized accounts from acquiring to retention we really do support the UK economy through our products and services across the whole customer lifecycle. What we do really does matter to the UK economy and our customers alike from enabling business to trade across multiple platforms, grow into new markets internationally or through our ability to help keep business and consumers safe in these times.

Our Gateshead based Business Engagement Team take centre stage when it comes to contacting our customers. Outbound calling our existing customers delivering a world class service whilst offering a range of card payment solutions and commercial offerings that will ultimately retain and grow our customers in this ever-changing world. We are passionate about what we do - and you will be too!

What you will be doing

You are responsible for calling existing Worldpay from FIS Customers. You will add value to our customers by discussing the products and services that we provide, promoting the benefits of Worldpay from FIS and use commercial negotiation in order to retain and enable customer and business growth.

  • Use creative negotiation, commercial and sales techniques to understand the customer s requirements, in order to retain the business.
  • Recommend solutions and use propositions to assist with Customers business growth.
  • Retain and create new Worldpay terminal contracts.
  • Educate customers regarding the benefits of Worldpay, our products and services.
  • Handle complaints successfully in accordance with established FCA guidelines.
  • Work simultaneously with multiple computer applications and databases
  • Achieve challenging sales targets

What you bring:

  • Effective people skills and sensitivities when dealing with others
  • Negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good understanding of Worldpay from FIS products and services
  • Solid analytical skill to determine customer needs coupled with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills to determine the right solution at the right time
  • Positive, driven mentality that is resilient to change.
