Assistant Management Accountant

Allen Lane are delighted to be partnering with a charitable organisation concentrating on providing support and continued welfare for those in need. Our client champion change surrounding difficult topics and areas within different communities, and are now aiming to structure their growth more thoroughly post covid. With an increase of public support during covid, they're now looking to steadily expand through the introduction of an interim Management Accountant on a fully remote basis.

Key responsibilities include:

Process month end journals (accruals, prepayments)
Review and monitor the open PO reports, ensuring they are receipted and closed in a timely basis
Process the core relief & overheads journals to recharge projects
Help monitor Fundraising income received
Provide Project reports as required

The successful candidate:

The successful candidate will be someone who has previously worked as a management accountant and is studying towards a professional qualification. Although charity sector experience is not essential, it is a bonus. Character wise, my client is looking for someone proactive, confident and vocal.
