Hours & Shift Patterns: Full and part time hours available. Various shift patterns working an internal rotation of early (07:30 - 15:30) and late (11:00-19:00, 12:00-20:00 or 13:00-21:00) shifts. You can expect to work 1 out of 5 weekends and 1 night per week of on-call.

What you will do as a Theatre Practitioner - Scrub, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery (RGN/ODP):


  • You will provide an effective and efficient service whilst ensuring optimum patient care. The post requires good communication skills and a desire to achieve the best outcome.
  • As an integral part of the team you will play an essential role in the day-to-day running of the department, making decisions relating to patient care and assisting senior practitioners, consultants, and surgeons.
  • You must be NMC or HCPC registered with a positive approach and genuine desire to expand your skills. You must have proven experience within Scrub, Anaesthetics and/or Recovery.
