An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Pub Manager to join a funky high volume drinks led pub based in the West End of London. Would you like to be treated as an individual? The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere with a high focus is on delivering standards and service. They are now looking for a strong Deputy Manager who has a similar drinks led background working in a fast paced fresh food pub environment.
Job Description
As a Deputy Pub Manager, you will be responsible for:
The day to day running of the business
Involved in some elements of stock control and gross profit margins & all financials
Managing and inspiring at team of over 50+
Experienced in high volume drinks led pubs & music venues
Staff recruitment
Maintaining brand standards
Training and development of staff
Working under pressure
Be able to think on your feet in order to solve problems
The Ideal candidate will be:
An experienced Deputy Manager or above with at least two years working in a funky high volume drinks led pub/club environment
Able to develop and implement strategies
Good understanding of stock control and gross profit margins
Good table service experience
MUST be flexible in working late nights
MUST have high volume experience
Help assist with the General Manager on daily operations
Be able to manage teams
Must have a quality fresh food background
Experience working towards targets
Focus on attention to detail
Dealing with senior Area Managers & Directors
Passionate about quality drinks
Friendly and socialable personality
The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in the fresh food fine dining gastro pub/restaurant industry.
