Job Description

Our client are a contractor accountancy who are, due to growth, seeking Compliance Assistants to work within their Compliance department.

To be successful in this role you'll already have a strong administrative background, be highly organized, efficient, pro-active, and most importantly a team player. If you enjoy working in a busy, fast paced role, where the hours fly by, this is the role for you!

There's no requirement to work weekends or Bank Holidays in this role, the working hours are 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, based at the company's modern offices in central Altrincham.

The Role

  • Acting as a main point of support in the compliance department for general administrative assistance
    · Updating the company CRM system with new information, creating and updating existing contractor files and uploading associated information in order to fulfil compliance requirements
    · Communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email (and occasionally telephone)
    · Having excellent attention to detail - being able to spot anomalies quickly and efficiently whilst reviewing contracts and conducting internal audits
    · Daily use of Microsoft based computer packages - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc

The Candidate

  • Is highly organized with an excellent attention to detail
    · Able to prioritise tasks accordingly based on importance
    · Has a keen eye for detail
    · Has the ability and enthusiasm to learn, always being flexible and adaptable towards changing processes and legislation
    · Is keen to develop a career within compliance
    · Knowledge of recruitment agencies and contractor payroll processes, or experience in a legal environment, is highly desirable, but not essential

Salary + Benefits
