The successful candidate will be joining a hardworking and ambitious department, teaching across Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5and will have had recent experience teaching GCSE and ideally A-Level Art. you will be joining the Creative Arts faculty alongside Drama and Music and the Artdepartmentprovides pupils with exciting opportunities to express their own artistry and to explore, develop and learn creative and technical skills. Students are taught in mixed ability classes across Key Stages and are encouraged to appreciate the work of different cultures and artists and to express their own thoughts, ideas and feelings.Students are guided to create highly personal outcomes and lead their own investigations at KS4 and KS5.

The headteacher is committed to ensuring the very best opportunities for the pupils in school. High expectations are set for pupils. The pupils respond well and take advantage of all that the school offers, good behaviour within school and overall graded good in their last Ofsted inspection.

Hold QTS Status or QTLS
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
Have the legal right to work in the UK
Ideally be able to provide excellent references
