This post is subject to compliance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations 2021 ("the Regulations"), which requires the post holder to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.

The Role:

Working closely with the Director of Care Quality & Transformation and team to help shape and support the improving practice across all care homes.

Provide quality assurance controls and support to our care and nursing homes to ensure they are operating in line with CQC regulations, best practice, and necessary clinical standards. Ensuring trends and analysis of incoming information helps set the regional and overall strategy for improvement and learning across the portfolio.

You will attend Care Quality & Transformation team audits - to complete audits and ensure timely reporting of audits to care home leadership teams and RD's. To include audit/ visit preparation; desktop analysis and report writing

By using our RADAR compliance tracking system, you will support and enhance the compliance within each home - detailing to Regional Operations Directors/SLT trends and analysis of risk, reviewing, and updating Regulatory Compliance Trackers and follow up on any outstanding home information requests - tracker to be kept up to date with new CQC monitoring details

About You:

The ability to challenge, act independently and make judgements and decisions
Be a lateral thinker and find solutions for successful outcomes - apply methodology
Excellent communication skills to confidently liaise with internal teams and external monitoring/regulatory bodies and proficient IT skills to monitor and analyse date and report.
Confidence in analysing changing guidance and supporting processes to enable teams to put into practice
Experience in an audit or quality governance role within social care ideally older people's care homes.
In depth and demonstrable knowledge and experience of applying CQC regulations including KLOE's as well as legislative requirements in practice
In depth working knowledge of RADAR
