1:1 Teaching Assistant | Long Term Contract

The school are looking to appoint someone who:

Is a competent teaching assistant with at least one years experience
Has an understanding of supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
Can be an excellent team player with fantastic communication skills
Is capable of leading small group interventions and supporting children 1:1
Will be reliable and a friendly face to the children and staff
Is dedicated to working with children and raising attainment

The main duties of this role are:

Working within KS1 supporting SEND in the mornings
Providing 1:1 support to pupils with EAL, ASD, SEMH and MLD
Leading small group interventions with children working below age expected levels
Liaising with the class teachers around progress of the children
