Summary:

The Global Marketing Organization (GMO) creates relevance, distinctiveness and growth for the PwC brand and business. We work together with the global markets and territory marketing leaders to deliver the go-to-market priorities that are aligned to Platforms, and enable sales and marketing excellence across the network.

The Strategic Marketing Centre of Expertise is a global team, accountable for the development and execution of data-driven integrated marketing strategies to maximize awareness, develop relationships, build pipeline and increase PwC's market share with our Global Clients.

Responsibilities:

As the Marketing Effectiveness and Measurement Senior Manager, this position will bring an inquisitive mindset to strategic marketing and drive marketing campaign optimization across the PwC network through measuring the effectiveness of campaigns. Candidates should have a strong affinity to quantitative and qualitative data analysis and designing and implementing integrated campaigns that build from awareness right through to sales opportunities.

This position will create measurement frameworks for strategic marketing campaigns at PwC and drive upskilling across the strategic marketer network to bring measurement of campaign effectiveness into every campaign and drive a continuous improvement mindset. The role will also work closely with the leadership team to build a consistent best practice approach to all marketing activities to help drive effectiveness and impact across everything that we do.

This is a role for an experienced marketer who loves using data and insight to drive continual improvements in what we do and how we do it. It requires somebody with a strong commercial mindset, who enjoys working with people and teams and can both inspire and build confidence.

Preferred Experience:

Demonstrates abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

  • Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, using a combination of sales data from a CRM platform, marketing data with the aid of visualisation tools and other channel metrics;

  • Making strategic recommendations on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and marketing tactics (holistically and individually) to inform future marketing campaign plans;

  • Setting standards and processes for campaign measurement, ideally in a B2B or professional services context;

  • Acting as a subject matter advisor to senior leaders and the business to influence how the practice engages the marketplace to drive relevance, distinctiveness and growth;

  • Upskilling strategic marketers with the tools, frameworks and skills required to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and drive a data driven mindset to content marketing;

  • Evaluating the appropriateness of proposed marketing activities, assessing alignment to the marketing strategy, targets and business development opportunities;

  • Understanding marketing trends and channels that have increased demand generation and brand equity;

  • Building and managing relationships with other marketing functions and the business, across a global network, including effectively managing a matrixed organization;

  • Creating data-driven customer journeys for activation across the full marketing funnel and multiple channels, leveraging MarTech;

  • Developing marketing tactics across the marketing mix and the leading strategy to tie initiatives together using customer journey and marketing automation principles; and,

  • Working with marketing automation systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferable.

  • A detailed understanding of different types of campaigns and best practice around modern marketing techniques, with the ability to systematise and upskill the wider team.
