Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist, Band 3
District Nursing Community Team Full Time 37.5 hrs hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the District Nursing team, within the borough of Greenwich. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Health Care Assistant/Phlebotomist to assist in the delivery of high standards of nursing care within a home setting.
You will work both on your own and with nurses in the team, visiting patients in their own home; you would be expected to feedback to the team leader during regular handovers.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and team working skills with the ability and willingness to learn and develop. Ideally you will have an NVQ 3 level in care & Phlebotomy qualification including experience of working in a health/social care setting.
The successful candidate will be required to work in various locations in the Community and will need to be a car driver and flexible.
Your role would include clinical & administration support. Experience of Microsoft office and knowledge of a computerized appointment system would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.
