Work Experience & Placement Officer

37 hours per week - 52 weeks per year | Full Time | Permanent

As a College Work Placement Officer you will be responsible for sourcing, identifying and gaining suitable work experience and placement opportunities for students, to include coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of these work placements. Make excellent connections with employers to maximise the student's opportunity for sustainable employment or other progression opportunities.

We are looking for a qualified and well-motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced individual to help students achieve their goals and ambitions in their career. You will also be responsible for preparing record systems to monitor the implementation of the individual's student-centred plans within the working environment and actively seek work opportunities with employers and ensure that individuals are supported during work placement. This will include placing and monitoring students as part of the new T Level programmes. This is a full-time role supporting students and staff onsite 5 days a week and is not suitable for home working.
