Job Description

The role involves supporting an autistic child who is non-verbal, in a Year 4 class.

This is a full-time, long-term position commencing immediately until at least July 2022 (with the option for it to go permanent).

About the role:

Support a child in a reception class on a 1:1 basis
Create strategies to maximise the pupil's academic potential
Engage with the pupil and create an exciting learning environment
Follow pupils' targets in line with their EHCP
Monitor pupils' progress

Requirements:

Prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant
Confident supporting children with Autism and / or Speech & Language difficulties is ideal
EYFS experience is desirable
Must be available immediately, full-time and long-term
