Exciting opportunity for a current Life Science sales person (or experienced Life Scientist) who is seeking a fast-paced, dynamic career with a renowned laboratory equipment supplier.
In this role you will utilize your extensive knowledge of molecular diagnostics workflows, and similar life science applications, to identify solutions encompassing lab equipment, products and reagents required to carry out analyses in these areas.
The company supply entire product ranges required for this type of analysis - including: capital equipment, specialized consumables, kits and reagents etc. You will be required to employ a consultative sales approach where, via your knowledge and experience, you will be able to identify and advise on "One Stop" solutions and product ranges for specific projects. The ability and desire to understand customers work is essential.
Candidates must have a Life-Science related degree, ideally with a minimum of 2 years relevant lab experience and some sales experience (gained in any industry). The desire and drive to succeed in a competitive marketplace is crucial.
The company is highly team focused and you will be fully supported by your manager throughout training and during your day to day activities.
Excellent communication and time-management skills are a must - typically you will homebased managing and setting your own diary and customer visits.
This role includes base salary, commission paid quarterly, company car, phone, laptop and iPad and will predominantly focus on accounts based in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Leeds.
