The Role
You will provide professional procurement and tender management arrangements for a range of key LSEC contracts including the regular review of established contracts, services and contractor performance to ensure the LSEC receives good value for money and in line with LSEC policies and procedures. You will assist and support the Head of Estates in the monitoring and delivery of a range of building works and projects.
You will ensure the LSEC estate including buildings and grounds are maintained to a safe and secure standard at all times. Undertake appropriate Health and Safety training to ensure competence in reporting and resolving health and safety matters. You will also manage and monitor the Maintenance and Estate Assistants Service Desk, ensuring that jobs are completed within the service level agreement.
Skills and Experience
You will have knowledge of financial regulations and procedures relating to tendering and quotation levels, and knowledge of legislation (including EU) concerning tendering limits and procedures. You will also have experience of service standards and how to deliver first class customer satisfaction and set up and deliver service level agreements, coupled with the ability to line manage staff members.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate reports. You will have the ability to prepare tender documentation, manage budgets and meet financial targets and the ability to analyse, solve problems and implement change.
