As a Supported Housing Assistant, you will support with the delivery of person-centred housing management services. You will be committed to delivering services of the highest quality, ensuring our homes are well maintained, and our services are welcoming environments for residents, staff and visitors.
Role Responsibilities
Working with care staff, social workers and colleagues across the business, you will be required to use your initiative to respond to the needs of residents and to advocate on their behalf. You will need to balance this with setting clear expectations with residents, so they have the information and assistance they need to sustain their tenancy. You will need to be able to effectively manage complex repairs to ensure works are completed in a timely manner with minimal inconvenience to residents.
This role is based at our extra care service in west London and may occasionally involve evening or weekend working.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook, along with good judgement, and strong interpersonal, communication and administration skills. Practical experience of dealing with, and resolving, health & safety concerns is desirable. No prior housing management experience is required for this post but experience of working in a customer facing role is a pre-requisite.

Interviews will be held on 13 January 2021 but shortlisted candidates will be required to complete online tests prior to this date.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check. This will be requested as part of our pre-employment checking process in the event of you being offered a position.
It may be mandatory for all non-care staff working in our extra care services to be fully vaccinated by 1 April 2022. Evidence of this, or medical exemption if appropriate, will be required if this does become a legal requirement.
