Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled Agile Delivery Manager with SC Clearance to be accountable for the project delivery team as part of a large £100m+ Programme for our meteorological client based in Exeter.

The Agile Delivery Manager will:
- lead on agile and lean practices
- Use a variety of agile and lean tools and techniques in order to help the team keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the product vision
- coach team members and others, facilitate continuous improvement and apply the most appropriate agile and lean tools and techniques for their environment
- proactively manage dependencies, overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints
- manage risks, budgets and people

Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 2+ years leading Agile Delivery Teams
  • Ability to lead on a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of your team.
  • Demonstrable experience of a consistent and ongoing approach to planning, forecasting, estimating, managing uncertainty, metrics and measurements, contingency planning and roadmapping.
  • Know how to build successful delivery teams, understand team styles and how people work together.
  • Innovative and up-to-date with the latest trends.
  • Ability to establish a feedback loop for teams taking responsibility for the translation and measurement of value (what you put in and what you will get out) and ensure this relates to practical objectives and the user needs.
  • Experience of ensuring the delivery team has situational awareness of work and priorities across the team.
