As part of our commitment to the highest standards in safeguarding, we are now seeking to appoint an expert leader to take responsibility for safeguarding and child protection matters in the College.

Reporting to the Head of College, the Director of Safeguarding will join the College's Leadership Team and will offer substantial safeguarding experience and in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policy, procedures and good practice regarding children's welfare and wellbeing. They will undertake the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead as defined in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2021. They will possess excellent relationship-building skills, a personal ethos of service and the expertise to further develop the safeguarding team at the College. Direct experience of the independent schools sector is not a pre-requisite and applications are encouraged from senior leaders with public sector and charitable backgrounds.
