NHG's Care & Support directorate provides supportive and caring communities which allow our residents to live in safety and with dignity. We are looking for someone to join our high-performing team as a Waking Night Worker, providing support to our extra care scheme in Southall, Greenford. This position is for a period of six months with the potential for this to be extended.
Role Responsibilities
Turnberry Court is home for c.40 adults with care and support needs. As Waking Night Worker, you will be responsible for health and safety in the scheme, as well as for the delivery of out of hours housing related services. You will be required to lone work and to use your own initiative to respond to the needs of residents, whilst ensuring the security of, and safety in, the building.
We are looking for someone who is strong willed, confident and with a genuine interest in working with vulnerable adults to deliver a person-centered service.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook, along with good judgement, strong interpersonal, communication and administration skills. Practical experience of dealing with, and resolving, health & safety concerns is desirable. No prior housing management experience is required for this post but experience of working in a customer facing role is a pre-requisite.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check. This will be requested as part of our pre-employment checking process in the event of you being offered a position.
It may be mandatory for all non-care staff working in our extra care services to be fully vaccinated by 1 April 2022. Evidence of this, or medical exemption if appropriate, will be required if this does become a legal requirement.
